A Girl & A Gun

What Is AG & AG?

A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League is a ladies-only organization established by women shooters for women shooters for pistol, rifle, and shotgun sports. The league is designed to take beginners to whatever skill level they wish to achieve and provide experienced shooters with more opportunities. The objective of some is to improve their skill levels for target and/or competitive shooting. Others, while wanting to improve their skills, also are interested in the aspects of self-defense.

Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment.  Our events provide an opportunity to meet other like minded women who love to shoot!

Mission

To educate and encourage women about firearm usage, safety, and promote women’s shooting interest and participation in the competitive shooting sports.

Vision

To have membership throughout the country united for women’s shooting programs in education, local league events, regional and national competition in competitive action shooting sports.

Purpose

To create a positive environment that supports women shooters and generates opportunities for women and girls in the shooting sports.

Culture

To welcome all demographics of women to participate in our events, which are designed for all levels from recreational to competitive shooting. A Girl and A Gun Women’s Shooting League belongs to its members.

More About Us

What we do

We offer opportunities for women shooters to get together on a regular basis to enjoy the shooting sports together and grow in their confidence and abilities.

Why we do it

We believe that a women’s only league creates unique opportunities for women to empower themselves and break down stereotypes typically associated with firearm ownership.

Where we do it

We meet twice a month.  The 2nd Saturday of the month we meet at Rainbow Range & Gun Club near Fallbrook from 9:00am-10:30am.  The 4th Thursday of the month we meet at Empowered Firearms and Training  in Vista from 7:30-9:00pm.

Who can join

All female shooters are welcome!  Minors MUST be accompanied by an adult.  While membership with A Girl & A Gun is not mandatory for participation, it is highly encouraged, and comes with many perks.  For more information on joining the national organization, go to:  www.agirlandagun.org.  For more information on the Vista Chapter, contact LeAnne Farmer at:  leanne@empoweredfirearms.com.
